The Miramonte Resort & Spa celebrated Concierge Wanda Cooper for receiving the 2012 Recognition of Service Excellence Award by the Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau. This award is presented to a frontline staff member who has enriched the overall experiences for visitors to the Palm Springs area by providing exceptional customer service and hospitality.

Wanda is a native of Italy who came to California in 1979. When she first moved to the Palm Springs area she owned and operated the Town and Country Lode which gave Wanda a unique and intimate understanding of hospitality. Wanda embodies customer service; she engages our guests and receives numerous glowing comments in return. Wanda is also a team player never hesitates to assist wherever she is needed. It’s not unusual to see Wanda working PBX in the morning and greeting guests at the Grove in the afternoon.
Wanda has been sharing her infectious attitude and smiles with our guests since 1997 labeling her “la matriarca” of Miramonte.
