The recently expanded airport terminal is designed to take advantage of the sunny, dry weather that has made the area a popular tourist retreat for over a century. Once through the security checkpoint, you'll find outdoor waiting areas with grassy knolls and seating that allows you to soak up some last-minute sun before boarding your plane. There is also an outdoor children's play area adjacent to gate 1 and a courtyard area near gates 4-11 with a soaring 40-foot canvas roof and live palm trees.

Additionally Ontario International Airport (ONT), a medium-hub airport, is only 45 miles west of downtown Palm Springs in the west end of San Bernardino County. ONT airport has experienced a tremendous increase in passengers and is particularly favored by executives wishing to avoid the delays and congestion of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). ONT Airport is a convenient, full-service airport with the newest spacious and passenger-friendly twin terminals.
