The Season Reopens: Indian Wells Music Festival

If hosting festival behemoths Coachella and Stagecoach weren’t enough, our Palm Springs location is also home to the Indian Wells Music Festival. Yes, we’re a lucky lot! Music is always wafting through the warm California air in our ‘hood. Taking place in our backyard, this event kicks off the month of the larger festivals. Infuse your incoming spring with a blend of rock, blues, jazz and country at this popular outing.

This year’s festival promises the best experience yet. Spread over the weekend of April 6 and 7, soulful music lovers should draw a heart in their calendar for these dates.

A Line-Up to Remember

Friday 6 April

Opening the first day is Mindi Abair, two-time GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist and The Boneshakers, followed by The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Jonny Lang.

Expect elegant jazz grooves, cool, retro vibes and nostalgic rockabilly tunes.

Saturday 7 April

Sandra Lynn opens the stage on the second day, making way for the multi-GRAMMY-award-winning The Robert Cray Band then Jon Batiste with the Dap-Kings.

Bubbles of sass pop into a spectacle of harmony and story, finishing off on fireworks of jazz.

Tickets are priced as follows:

Table seats: $125 per day

Prime pavilion: $95 per day

Pavilion: $75 per day

Two-day packages are available to reserve the same seats for both nights.

A Sumptuous Location

Beautiful music needs a beautiful setting. Indian Wells might be small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in natural splendour. It helps that we’re also crazy about tennis, which is why the Indian Wells Tennis Garden is the perfect venue for this symphony for the senses.

With a capacity of 2,000 people, The Indian Wells Tennis Garden will have a “Full Bloom” debut. The site of the BNP Paribas Open – the largest men’s and women’s combined tournament in the world – has been preened to perfection with recent additions of palm trees, floral installations, pavers, plants and other greenery. Draped by the atmosphere of springtime, this succession of insanely good concerts is not be missed.

Patrons will be treated to food, wine, art and more from a selection of vendors to complement the evening. This is a festival that oozes class.

Home Away from Home

We provide a pad that will sweep you off your feet, just like the festival. Miramonte Resort & Spa is equipped with great Californian cuisine, stunning suites and full moon yoga classes.
